Mar 22, 2024 · We are excited to announce ‘Anno Domini 1989-1995’, the first boxed set celebrating singer Tony Martin’s era of Black Sabbath, will be released on 31st May 2024. The set picks up Black Sabbath’s story in 1989, two decades into the band’s ground-breaking career as metal originators.
On 31 December 2023, Iommi announced that a Black Sabbath box set of Martin-era albums was due for release in May 2024. On 21 March 2024, Anno Domini 1989–1995 was revealed as the title of the box set and it was announced that it would be released on 31 May. [2]
Mar 22, 2024 · Release date is 31 May 2024 – globally. The four studio albums are Headless Cross, Tyr, Cross Purposes, & Forbidden. HC, Tyr, CP have all been remastered (HC really needed it, IMO) Forbidden is the new remix of the album. The original mix of Forbidden is not included anywhere. There are three sets. Vinyl, CD, & digital.

The set contains remastered versions of the albums “ Headless Cross ” (1989), “ Tyr ” (1990) and “ Cross Purposes ” (1994), as well as a new version of “ Forbidden ” (1995), specially remixed by Tony Iommi himself.
