  1. Nov 2021. Amboise was the most memorable town of our 3 days Chateaus tour. The Chateau Royal has an elevated commanding position overlooking the whole town and Loire. I suggest before visiting it to stop at the Loire islet across (where's Leonardo monument) to capture this beautiful panorama.
