Built in 1988 and located adjacent to the Brazos River, it is home to the Baylor University Bears volleyball, acrobatics, and tumbling teams. It is named for Charles R. Ferrell, a Baylor student and legacy who died in 1967, and whose family's estate was a major benefactor of the arena.

May 16, 2018 · The Ferrell Center is located at the intersection of University Parks Drive and LaSalle Ave. From the north, drive south on I-35, take University Parks Drive exit and turn east (left) to intersection of University Parks and LaSalle.

Mar 21, 2023 · Built in 1988 at a cost of $12.5 million, the gold-domed Ferrell Center is located on a 14-acre tract on the corner of University Parks Drive and Texas Highway 6 (LaSalle Avenue). Capacity for basketball games is 10,284 and 6,000 for volleyball matches, while conventions, concerts, graduation exercises and convocations can seat 12,000.

Jan 25, 2020 · Ferrell Center is located on the far northeastern corner of campus, away from I-35 and the normal Waco traffic. There is free parking for Ferrell Center events near the arena, and the flow of traffic seems to move well before as well as after the event.
Sep 2, 2022 · While the Baylor men’s and women’s basketball teams will play their non-conference schedules in the Ferrell Center, the Foster Pavilion is due to open in January 2024 in time for the start of Big 12 Conference play. “We’re on schedule to open the bowl portion of the facility in January of 2024,” Howard said.
