Sep 19, 2020 · Place chopped bacon in a large rimmed skillet on med-high heat until completely cooked. Remove bacon from pan and drain. Add green beans, bacon, chicken broth, butter, onion, garlic, and sugar to skillet. Bring to a simmer, and then lower heat to medium-low. Cover the skillet and let simmer about 10 minutes, or until green beans are tender. Serve.
