Permanent collection and exhibitions of American crafts. This gem of a museum, located in a historic building near the White House, is dedicated to exhibiting the finest American crafts from the 19th century to the present. Open daily 10 am - 5:30 pm. Closed December 25. Free admission.

It is designed to offer a welcoming experience and provide visitors with history and information the White House and President's Park. It is open seven days a week from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day. The White House Historical Association has a museum shop in the Visitor Center.

The northern trail takes you to Sherman Park, where the famous general once reviewed the troops returning from the Civil War, then north to Pennsylvania Avenue and Lafayette Park and ends at the majestic First Division Monument.
