Robert Young, Laraine Day, Margaret O'Brien, and William Severn are the four main charters in the film, each portraying desperate people in a war torn Europe trying to find peace and happiness. This is a must see classic film on my list. The ending is especially profound in today's world as they discuss America ever being attacked by war.

Journey for Margaret is a 1942 drama film set in London in World War II. It stars Robert Young and Laraine Day as a couple who have to deal with the loss of their unborn child due to a bombing raid. It is an adaptation of the book of the same name in which William Lindsay White and his wife described their experiences adopting an orphan in London.
Margaret O'Brien, of course, became a star as a result of Journey, and it's easy to see why. Though occasionally mannered, hers is a remarkable performance for someone so very young, and she really plays her scenes for all they're worth.
The standout for this film would have to be the performances, pretty much everybody including the child actors were magnificent. Journey for Margaret is by no means perfect but this needs to be seen by more people, only slightly over 100 users have logged this film & it doesn’t even have a critic’s consensus on rotten tomatoes.
