Oct 2023 • Family. Our Little Italy Food Tasting Tour was a great way to experience an historic part of NYC. Our guide Vincent kept our group of 11 entertained and well fed as we walked many of the streets along Mulberry Street. We enjoyed sponge cake, two kinds of cannoli, gnocchi, cheeses, proscuitto, and, of course, NY-style pizza.

Located north of Chinatown and separated on the East Side by Canal Street, Little Italy is the area where the first Italian immigrants settled. New York's Little Italy is currently being taken over by Chinatown and other neighborhoods and is becoming smaller and smaller in size.
There are subway stops on Canal and Spring Street that can be utilized to reach Little Italy from anywhere in New York City. The 6 train runs from the upper east side all the way to Little Italy. If you’re in Times Square you can take the Times Square Express to Grand Central Terminal and then transfer to the 6 train.
