It tells the story of a proud, lonely man, the young woman who comes to share his hideaway on an island, the murderers who invade their solitude, and the way he must choose between philosophy and violence.
The film is set in Somersville, Ohio (in reality Parkton, Maryland [2]) and was nominated for a Golden Globe award in 1995 (Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture – Comedy/Musical: Shirley MacLaine). Plot. Doug Chesnic is a Secret Service agent who takes great pride in his job, performing his duties with the utmost professionalism.
