It also boasts of an idyllic park, a golf course, and a high street with picturesque shops and pubs. Walking around Dulwich is like stepping into a rural village in the middle of London.
This green space is one of the most beautiful parks in south London, and it’s worth a visit. Dulwich Park Established in the late 19th century, Dulwich Park spans 29 hectares (72 acres) and is packed with everything from a boating lake to woodland walks and an American Garden.
Dulwich, a particularly peaceful corner of the capital with plenty of village-like charm, feels a million miles from the bustle of London Bridge when really, it’s only around five. For many (ourselves included), however, the south-east London neighbourhood’s spectacular modernist architecture is its biggest draw.
