- Legion. Legion presents an interesting conundrum for anyone trying to draft the Marvel Universe into aspects of the Emotional Spectrum. The son of Professor X, David Haller is one of the most powerful mutants in existence, possessing hundreds of different powers.
- Thanos. No one would make a better Black Lantern than Thano s. Black is the absence of color and emotion, so technically it doesn't rest on the Emotional Spectrum.
- Captain Marvel. The White light is made of all other colors in the spectrum, offering those that wear its ring incredible power derived from life itself.
- Spider-Man. Generally speaking, the power of the Violet light has only been held by women, specifically the Star Sapphires, but Spider-Man is still a strong contender to join their ranks.
- Hulk. Of course, The Incredible Hulk has to be on this list, as no other Marvel character is associated more with rage. Though the green would likely clash a little with the red, Hulk is definitely Marvel’s best candidate for a Red Lantern Corps member.
- Punisher. With everything that has happened to Frank Castle over the years, it makes sense that he would be a bit angry. Because of the things that have happened to him, Franks has racked up one of the largest kill counts in the entire Marvel universe, making him perfect for the role of a Red Lantern.
- Wolverine. With how often Wolverine is coated in blood, it isn’t hard to see how he would fit right in with the Red Lanterns. Along with a bad attitude and everything, Logan is one of the more obvious candidates, especially considering how he is known for his constant grumpy mood and violent past.
- Ghost Rider. In actuality, almost every Spirit of Vengeance would likely qualify for a Red Lantern Ring, as most of them are known for being rather violent characters and tortured souls.
- Spider-Man. Despite being such a major symbol, Spider-Man has arguably inspired far more hope in people over the years than Captain America, earning him the number 1 spot on this list.
- Captain America. As mentioned previously, few characters have inspired more hope than Captain America himself. Since WWII, the character has continued to fight for truth and justice, despite not being the strongest, fastest, or smartest character around.
- Professor X. Cyclops may lead the team, but Charles Xavier founded the ideology that all members of the X-Men fight for. Because of this, it only makes sense that Xavier would also be considered for a Blue Lantern Ring, even though he may not be the most active mutant in the universe.
- Cyclops. Though his ideologies have constantly been challenged over the years, Scott Summers is arguably one of the strongest symbols of hope in the Marvel universe.
