    • Brie Larson as Carol Danvers/Captain Marvel. Before becoming Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers was a U.S. Air Force fighter pilot. When an accident mixes up her DNA, she gains energy projection and absorption, superhuman strength, and flight power.
    • Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel. Before becoming Ms. Marvel, Kamala Khan was, basically, all of us when we geek out over something: a super-fan. Her obsession is with the Avengers and, more specifically, Captain Marvel.
    • Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau. Monica Rambeau is a long-time friend of Carol Danvers, aka Captain Marvel, as both women's mothers knew each other when Monica and Carol were children.
    • Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Nick Fury is the founder of the Avengers supergroup. Like Captain Marvel, his career began in the United States' Army, then moving to the CIA, and ended up as a member of S.H.I.E.L.D., a counter-terrorism agency created by the government that appears in the Marvel Comics, films, and TV shows.
    • Robin Parrish
    • Moon Girl. "Moon Boy and Devil Dinosaur." Maybe you've heard of them, maybe you haven't. What matters is that they were a duo on a prehistoric alternate Earth, where they protected the innocent and fought evil.
    • The Totally Awesome Hulk. Teenage genius (man, Marvel has a lot of those) Amadeus Cho has been a supporting player in Hulk comics for years. He's served as Hulk's sidekick, and Bruce Banner's protege.
    • The Unworthy Thor. Thor is starring in a new solo title where he is both the same character you know and love and someone entirely new. It's a little hard to explain.
    • The Infamous Iron Man. During Brian Michael Bendis' tenure on Invincible Iron Man, he reintroduced Victor von Doom into the Marvel universe, where he's supposedly a changed man.
    • Eddie Brock / Venom. Played by: Tom Hardy. First appearance: “Venom” (2018) Most recent appearance: “Spider-Man: No Way Home” (2021) We are Venom! Tom Hardy’s super-sized symbiote is a worthy portrayal of the Spider-Man villain, complete with black, gooey tendrils and a slobbering tongue.

    • Clint Barton / Hawkeye. Played by: Jeremy Renner. First appearance: “Thor” (2011) Most recent appearance: “Hawkeye” (2021) Clint is no longer just the “arrow guy.”
