The first specials were produced by API in Australia, then Hanna-Barbera bought them and produced more specials, and other films from other companies were also included in the series, like Charlotte’s Web. Back in the early 1990s when Ted Turner purchased Hanna Barbera studios, he did so to acquire their library of finished animation with the intention of using it to start Cartoon Network.
These shows need to be on more mainstream cable outlets that TimeWarner own like: Cartoon Network, HBO Family, TNT, TBS and Turner Classic Movies. The Hanna-Barbera shows need more exposure on TV than what they are getting. Before Ted Turner bought Hanna-Barbera, some of the shows showed up regularly on The Disney Channel!!!

I know WB owns HB now, but I'm talking classic Hanna Barbera (Scooby Doo, Jetsons, Flintstones) vs. classic WB (Looney Tunes). Personally, I think they both rock, but I'm going to have to vote for HB. After all, that's where Scooby came from!
