For the past 25 years, Nicolas has been involved in projects related to the conservation, safe exchange, characterization, evaluation, improvement, and distribution of vegetatively propagated crops, with an emphasis on banana and plantain.
Nicholas Roux chairs the English Department at The Academy and also teaches philosophy and creative writing.
