About Us. About Oakland Tech. Overview. Oakland Technical High School is a microcosm of the city it calls home. We are a vibrant multicultural and multilingual community of more than 1,800 students, nearly 200 dedicated educators and staff and thousands of passionate alumni and supporters.
Overview. Since the 21-22 School Year, Oakland Tech has adopted a seven period modified block schedule. On Mondays, students attend seven 45-minute classes.
