Sep 25, 2018 · Taking on the role of the Danish warrior Bloodhair in The Last Kingdom season three will be Ola Rapace. Rapace is a 46-year-old Swedish actor, who was born in Tyresö, Stockholms län.
In 2018 Rapace was one of the main antagonists in series 3 of the drama The Last Kingdom as Jarl Sigurd Bloodhair. Rapace joined the cast of Below the Surface (Gidseltagningen), a Danish drama about 15 innocent people held hostage underground in a subway train, as "Yusef" when it returned for a second series in 2019.
OLA RAPACE. A fearsome and impressive sword-Dane, famed for his battle ritual of sacrificing a horse to Thor and soaking his hair in its blood. Quick tempered and proud, Bloodhair’s weakness is his woman - the vicious sorceress Skade - and his desire for her leads him to risk power, reputation and even life itself.
