Sep 20, 2021 · It’s less so in its balance of laughs and lobotomies, and the splicing together of its main characters. It’s a Frankenstein’s Monster of The Knick and Horrible Histories, and you can still see the stitches. The cast, though, go a long way to remedying the script’s ills.
