Aug 16, 2019 · The Aquinas College Athletics Department introduced a new set of athletic logos on Friday (Aug. 16), featuring an "Athletic AQ" logo and a spirit word mark. The updated identity provides both a refreshed look for a historic program and new tools to share the story of Aquinas Saints teams with the community.
Logo & Branding Guidelines. The Aquinas College logos may be used for any College-sanctioned activity, provided that permission is first obtained from the Marketing and Communication department. To maintain consistency in use of the College's brand standards, please refer to the Graphic Identity Standards manual and an AQ Style Guide.

Also in 1997, the college officially named its mascot, a St. Bernard dog, "Nelson" in honor of President Paul Nelson, who retired that year. In 1998 the college was reorganized into three schools, each led by a dean and subdivided into departments: the School of Education, the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, and the School of Management.

Athletics - Saints Nelson Logo Aquinas Seal Logo Color There are four versions of the Aquinas College logo. All versions are available in 2 color and 1 color (black). The Circle AQ is also available as Maroon (188). Several variations of the logo may be used for different printing situations. Two-Color : When possible, use the spot-color version.
Peyton Scott, the son of Krystal and Josh Scott, has signed his national letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic career at Aquinas College. Scott, who currently attends Charlevoix High School, became the fourth signee of the 2023-24 recruiting class for the Aquinas College men's cross country and track & field programs.
Located on Ransom Ave. in downtown Grand Rapids, it becomes the first co-ed Catholic college in the United States to be administered by a congregation of religious women. In the late 1930's CJC adds a third year of courses and eventually makes plans to become a four-year college. 1940. CJC becomes the four-year college called Aquinas College. 1945.
