    Candace Jewell is a recurring character in seasons one and two of The L Word. She is portrayed by Ion Overman and debuts in "Liberally".

    Candace grew up in Brooklyn, New York, and now lives in Silver Lake, Los Angeles. She is a carpenter and has an all-woman crew. Upon her introduction in The L Word season one, Candace and her business partner are contracted to remodel a loft in Venice, Los Angeles, near the California Arts Center.

    Candace used to date Yolanda Watkins but says they just fought all the time during their relationship. Candace also participates in "clinic defense", in which she and other volunteers physically protect abortion clinic clients from protesters.
