The caption literally doesn’t add anything, the joke is fine on its own but the inclusion of the caption just stretches out the joke, nobody wants to see some person rambling on about how it’s “the best post on this whole site” which I’ve seen multiple times, it’s like they’re trying to add something to the joke but they’re so painfully oblivious that they just write that
