The coinage of Julian's reign is a direct continuation of that of the. last years of Constantius II. Gold issues comprise solidus, semissis, and tremissis of 1 ' scripula. No multiples or medallions are known to have been struck. Silver is composed of heavy and light miliar- ensia - to use the conventional terminology - of ^ and ^ of a pound.
