Nov 21, 2012 · Of all the Visconti inks I have, only the box of the 75ml glass bottle shows the ink names, appearing on two rows, with the first row being Italian 'Bordeaux', and the second row in English 'Burgundy'. (Also: Nero+Black, Blu+Blue, Turchese+Turquoise, Sepia+Brown. Purple was not yet in the market.)

Jan 28, 2009 · Sonic Blue is a lighter blue-black that's not entirely to my tastes, but it's still a good flowing ink. The only other brand of ink that's been in it is Cross refills (black). As has been stated previously this is just a re-branded Pelikan 4001 ink, which works as expected in my Townsend but isn't a stunning performer.

Jul 4, 2011 · A good standard blue ink with no nast side effects I've noticed. I also liked Pelikan 4001 Royal Blue but it has one very nasty side effect: it fades even in complete darkness. There are more blues like Waterman Florida Blue and Parker Washable blue that have a tendecy to fade but even after years when they are not to often exposed to light ...
