Jun 24, 2012 · Why was Caroline McWilliams (Marcy) written out of the show? She was a lovely woman and the character of Marcy was quite likeable. According to her bio on IMDB, it doesn't appear that she moved on to anything significant immediatley after Benson, at least in television.
