Spike Jonze was born on 22nd October 1969, Rockville, Maryland, U.S., to father, Arthur H. Spiegel III, and mother, Sandra L. Granzow. His father was a distant relation of the Spiegel catalog family whereas his mother is a writer, communications consultant in developing countries and an artist.
