I understand there was much officially-discouraged exchange of Swiss currency, and ultimately the Rentenmark and Reichsmark took the place of the Papiermark, but did the central government ever seriously consider pushing delete on the Papiermark when inflation started to get out of control and maybe switching to the U.S. dollar (like Zimbabwe, to an extent) or the British Pound?
