Names of the roles an actor has played can be relatively indiscriminate on that actor's article (and more discriminate in each film's article). Same with directors, though awards and some notes (like "Also directed") are more pertinent.
It is currently the case that AfD discussions for the biography articles of filmmakers and such are listed at Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Film; I believe it would be prudent to relocate such discussions to Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Actors and actresses and rename that page to Wikipedia:WikiProject Deletion sorting/Actors and filmmakers.

As for the "Next Q" business, I tend to agree with having navboxes for television or film roles that are notable for having many different actors (e.g. James Bond, The Doctor) but don't see the point of doubling up the info with a succession box as well. Actors and filmmakers that are reasonably notable on a national level within the actors and filmmakers field without necessarily being famous or very notable elsewhere. Alec Baldwin Danny Boyle. Low. Actors and filmmakers of little interest to non-film buffs and the film industry.
