That is, we don't expect the WikiProject Automobiles project to have to worry about motorcycles when making their conventions, and WikiProject Motorcycling isn't strictly obligated to follow all WP:WPAC conventions. In other words, WikiProject Motorcycling is just being (wisely) lazy by not re-inventing the wheel.
