22 April – Achintya Holte Nielsen won the Miss Indonesia 2017 competition. 23 April – A bus carrying tourists rammed through 13 vehicles in Puncak, Bogor, killing 4 people and injuring 21people. 24 April 11 hikers were struck by lightning in Dieng Plateau, Wonosobo. At least 3 of them died.
