  2. Jul 15, 2020 · Of losing, regrets, and pain, the movie Through Night and Day wants to imbibe the idea of ‘love is a choice’ and yes, it will always be! The scene where the two sung “I will be here” was everything. It was a tear-jerking moment where I can't desist the falling rain from my eyes.

  3. Jul 14, 2020 · But maybe one’s love is not enough to keep a relationship going. Both partners should be happy in the relationship, willing to make compromises in working out their differences. Now streaming on Netflix, Through Night and Day stars Alessandra de Rossi and Paolo Contis.

  4. Jul 16, 2020 · After having watched the movie, here are the lessons I think we should take away. I may have to warn you that there are tons of spoilers ahead: Love is a give-and-take relationship: A relationship is bound to fail if one person does not give the same amount of effort compared to the other.

    • Because this movie deserves it. Through Night and Day, by all counts, was a complete bomb the first time it came out in the cinemas. Netflix ended up giving it a second lease on life, and on this new platform, movies that deserve your attention but slipped under your radar can finally get the recognition they truly deserve.
    • It has a lot to say about how we gloss over things. The quirks we put up with on a daily basis seem to only be magnified during travel, and it’s a good reminder: sometimes, things aren’t as easy as the movies make it look.
    • It’s a treatise on how to say goodbye. How do you give closure to someone without giving them false hope? It’s such a tightrope act, but in a world of Clint Bondad’s, Ben and Jen’s swan song for each other is a refreshing change of pace.
    • We needed a film like this. Traveling with someone is normally the litmus test of how well you will be able to deal with each other. After all, not only are you in proximity of each other most of the time, the both of you have to deal with each other in unfamiliar territory.

    1. At the start of the movie, you will see old photos of Ben and Jen as teenagers and aren't Photoshopped! They're actual photos of Paolo and Alex taken when they were younger. The two talented actors, who both started their showbiz careers in the '90s, worked together in the moviesSpirit of the Glass in 2004 and One Night Onlyin 2008. 2. Through N...

TBH, I wasn't really planning on watching this movie. There have been many "indie-feels" movies lately that aren't worth watching, and I thought this would be one of them. The trailer didn't excite me—it was cute and funny, but I just wasn't sure if it would be worth spending P300 for. Then I started to read comments from people who have seen it an...

"I didn't expect it would be this good! The movie's got a lot of heart and it's definitely not your typical rom-com. Paolo Contis needs to make more movies like this! He was exceptional!" —Grace

  6. Jul 19, 2020 · Through Night & Day is not a feel-good movie—if anything, it is a film guaranteed to leave you ugly sobbing in the end.
