William Charles Anthony Gaunt (born 3 April 1937 in Pudsey, West Riding of Yorkshire) is an English actor. He became widely known for television roles such as Richard Barrett in The Champions (1968–1969), Arthur Crabtree in No Place Like Home (1983–87) and Andrew Prentice in Next of Kin (1995–97).

Biography. William Charles Anthony Gaunt (born 3 April 1937 in Pudsey, Yorkshire) is an English actor. Gaunt's father was a lawyer. Gaunt attended Giggleswick School and Baylor University, Texas, and then at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art. He then spent three years working in repertory theatre at Worthing, Bath, Salisbury and Cheltenham.
