Nov 17, 2011 · Every time windows live tries to sync up the emails, it gets hung at the same place 'Update all Calendar Events' Executing. I do use calendards so disabling the calendars is not an option, tried uninstall and install did not work. Let me know how i can get it to work to update the calendar. Dec 27, 2011 · I noticed lately that my Windows Live Mail seems "stuck" in the Update All Calendar Event step. It will check for emails in all accounts then reaches Update All Calendar Event and stays there until i tell it to stop. It does not seem to do it all the time, but it is annoying. I cannot figure out what that step really is, or if i can skip that ...
Why can't I see older events or events far in the future? The date range of events displayed in the Calendar app is determined by your account type and the device you're using. While older events or events far in the future aren't displayed in the Calendar app, they haven't been deleted. You can view the events from the web or in another app.
