May 5, 2020 · The restoration job on Wings is incredible; I have never seen a silent film look so immaculate. The images just glow, very few scratches, dirt or splices. And the entire movie has been tinted, gold for daylight, light blue for night scenes. In the aerial combat scenes when planes catch fire the flames are animated, and colored red and yellow.
