  5. Dec 14, 2019 · Chain of Command is popular amongst wargamers who want to explore the tactics of ww2 fighting. Published by Too Fat Lardies, it is also agnostic towards any miniature ranges. TFL rules are also more on the ‘connaisseur’ end of the spectrum of wargaming rules. Bolt Action and Flames of War are probably the most widespread rules today.

Everything can be generated – just pick forces, and roll dice to generate your soldiers, terrain and enemies. Playable at any scale, and even with paper counters.
