Cheryl Ann Tweedy, known as Cheryl ((previously Cole and Fernandez-Versini) born 30 June 1983) is an English pop singer and formerly a member of the band Girls Aloud. She was a judge on The X Factor UK until 2010 before returning in 2014 and 2015. She was formerly a judge on The X Factor USA for the Los Angeles and Chicago auditions.
•She is the first British female singer to achieve five UK #1 singles.
•She was in a relationship with former One Direction star Liam Payne, who first auditioned for the show in 2008 before auditioning once more in 2010, going on to achieve worldwide fame with the group. They have a son together named Bear.
•In all the series she was a judge on, the highest-placing act she mentored at least advanced to the semi-final.
•The only time she had her highest-placing act, Lauren Platt, eliminated was in the 2014 semi-final. However, Platt would have advanced to the final if the result went to deadlock in the semi-final.
•She is the only judge on the show to be the winning mentor for two consecutive series.
•In all the series she mentored the Girls category, she always had an act placing 4th - her second highest-placing acts Diana Vickers and Cher Lloyd in 2008 and 2010 respectively and her highest-placing act Lauren Platt in 2014.
