In the present, Gambit prepares to stop Time-Sink, who defeats Gambit with memories of his past defeats. Legion shows up and attacks his missing personality with a lightning attack. However, Time-Sink goes back in time and grabs a knife to attack Legion. Using a blind spot Professor X created, Rogue absorbs Time-Sink's powers.
