Because Yen Sid quickly became Nomuras main excuse to stop trying write an actually interesting plot. He still comes up with cool moments and things for the characters to do in all the games to be clear. I do like these games. But I contend that the strength of a Kingdom Hearts game’s plot is inversely proportional to the importance of Yen Sid.
