Yolanda, also known as Honey Bunny, is a major antagonist in Quentin Tarantino's second feature-film, Pulp Fiction. She is Pumpkin's girlfriend and partner in crime, and is a neurotic oddball of a character.
She was portrayed by Amanda Plummer, whose role was created specifically to partner Tim Roth's Ringo onscreen, as he recommended to Tarantino, ''I want to work with Amanda in one of your films, but she has to have a really big gun.''
In the expository scene of the film, Yolanda and Pumpkin are our first protagonists we see. They are sat having breakfast at a conventional American diner and discussing their former experiences of robbing - local stores and banks, but resolve to quit for good.
This is until Pumpkin suggests they rob the diner they're in, as everyone's guard will be down in having food in their mouths, meanwhile presuming the employees won't sacrifice themselves for the cash register. Thus, they commence a well-rehearsed robbery before a freeze-frame prompts the surf rock classic, 'Misirlou' (Dick Daleepic's version) to start via L-cut, and inevitably lead us into the opening credits.

•Australian music duo 'Yolanda Be Cool' was named after Jules telling Yolanda "Be cool!".
•The uncredited co-writer and editor of the script, Linda Chen, allowed Quentin Tarantino to hold the isolated title of 'Writer' on the condition he looks after her rabbit 'Honey Bunny' when away. Although she spent multiple months working on the script without a salary nor credit, Tarantino denied looking after her rabbit when the time came. In subsequent, she gave it to the untrustworthy hands of other friends, who tragically lost it. Out of remorse and guilt, Tarantino named Yolanda 'Honey Bunny' in commemoration to his evaded responsibility and violated friendship duty.
