Jun 25, 2023 · At the suggestion of Manny Charlton, the group’s old friend Zal Cleminson, from The Sensational Alex Harvey Band, was invited to join for arguably the heaviest Nazareth record of all, 1979’s No Mean City. The twin-guitar sound worked well on May The Sunshine and Star, which both became hit singles, even in the UK.
