Feb 12, 2007 · Foghat was an English rock group consisting of "Lonesome" Dave Peverett, Rod Price, Tony Stevens & Roger Earl. They had loads of top charting albums in the 70s & 80s on Bearsville Records. We now start a campaign to reissue their entire catalog in remastered versions. Zig-Zag Walk originally reached # 40 on the Billboard charts in 1983.

Jan 6, 2010 · Zig-Zag Walk is one of Foghat's best recordings. No, it is not like the Foghat of the 70's. Get over it! They grew and changed musically over the years, which is what a good band ought to do. You don't want to listen to a band that just reproduces the same sound over and over again, year after year.

Foghat Live was their biggest album, selling over two million copies. After 1975, the band went through a series of bass players; Price left the band in 1981 and was replaced by Erik Cartwright. In the early '80s, Foghat's commercial fortunes declined rapidly, with their last album, 1983's Zig-Zag Walk, barely making the album charts.
