  1. Quality-wise and from a creativity level, “Zootopia” is very impressive. The story is tight and goes along at a solid pace. Zootopia’s many regions, such as Tundra Town, Rainforest District, Little Rodentia, among many others, are well-designed and cool to see. I only wish the movie would have spent a little more time observing the scenery.

  2. Mar 23, 2016 · We asked two Christian dads what they thought about Zootopia and how to extend the lessons from the movie into conversations with your kids. Bill says: There are some scenes in this film where my 6 ½-year-old son closed his eyes and covered his ears. Because of these violent scenes, I recommend this movie for kids that are older.

Zootopia is a fun movie for all ages. The brilliant, well-rounded story should appeal to both children and adults, and with state-of-the-art animation, the movie is never lacking for visual thrills. Both Goodwin and Bateman do a masterful job at bringing their characters to life. The dialogue tends to be quick and witty, making it a real treat to w...

There are moments when the film's lesson comes off clumsy or where the metaphor is forced. Zootoipiaalso suffers from an appalling wealth of bad puns, not to mention running gags about sloths in the DMV and crime bosses named "Mr. Big," which will have some viewers rolling their eyes.

Though tolerance and understanding are Zootopia's chief themes, the film lightly touches on a number of Christian subjects: the unconditional love of family, the pursuit of redemption, and perseverance in the face of overwhelming cynicism. However, the most significant might just be the theme of forgiveness. There is a rather poignant scene in Zoot...

  5. Mar 3, 2016 · Review: ‘Zootopia’ Is a Preachy Comedy, But Not In a Bad Way. by Jon Negroni. Unlike the scores of other animated movies starring talking animals with clothes, Zootopia opens with a lengthy explanation for why the creatures of their world are “evolved” enough to stand upright and build cities.

  6. ZOOTOPIA is funny, exciting, heartwarming, and beautifully animated. Some of the action involves scary animals going berserk, so caution for younger children is advised. ZOOTOPIA has a strong moral worldview with strong redemptive elements. There are positive references to God, prayer and miracles.
