This long, crescent shaped lake curves past the wooded peaks of Pfannenstiel to the east and the Albis chain to the west. There are many ways to make the most of the lake, some we’ll go into more detail about later.
Destination. The bent, almost banana-shaped Lake Zurich is framed on the southern side by the Albis and Zimmerberg hills and on the north by the Pfannenstiel chain of hills. Since we were on a public holiday (May 1st) in Zurich, unfortunately all shops were closed and the usual bustle on the streets, which often also makes up the flair of a city, was unfortunately missing. Instead, there were many demonstrations and police presence. Light drizzle on top.
