The University of Kansas (KU) is a public and research university with its main campus in Lawrence, Kansas, United States. [13] Two branch campuses are in the Kansas City metropolitan area on the Kansas side: the university's medical school and hospital in Kansas City, Kansas, the Edwards Campus in Overland Park.

Transfer students are assured admission with 24+ transferable credit hours at a GPA of 2.5 or higher from a regionally accredited community college, college, or university. If you are an incoming freshman and do not meet the assured admission requirements, you are encouraged to apply.
