Nick Compton (Julian Sands) is a developer who is cheating on his wife, Victoria (Rebecca Pidgeon), and is in over his head with a casino project. Nick's mistress, Samantha (Shawn Huff), is his wife's law partner, and he has also been conducting his shady deals with her. After it's discovered that they have been scamming investors, several people turn up trying to recover their money and find the truth, including stranger Jonas McCaw (Alano Massi) and a private detective (Brian Dennehy).
