The Stamford Museum & Nature Center, located in Stamford, Connecticut, is an art, history, nature, and agricultural sciences museum. The property covers 118 acres (ca. 48 hectares) beginning about half a mile north of the Merritt Parkway.
At the Stamford Museum & Nature Center you can see the Bendel mansion/sculptures, walk trails, learn about tree tapping (in season), visit the observatory & planetarium, and watch/touch animals at Heckscher Farm. There are enough attractions to keep adults and children entertained for several hours.
