The young Slovakian bass/bass-baritone Peter Kellner joined the ensemble of the Vienna State Opera in the 2018/19 season. In the current season he will sing, amongst other roles, Theseus in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Nummer Eins in the new production of Henze’s Das verratene Meer under the baton of Simone Young.
Peter Kellner débuted at the Wiener Staatsoper as Panthée in Berlioz‘s Les Troyens, as Ratcliffe (Billy Budd) at Royal Opera House Covent Garden and as Figaro (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Volksoper Wien and the Glyndebourne Festival.
Met Debut. Colline in La Bohème, 2022.
