Gen-Y Cops is a 2000 Hong Kong science fiction action film directed by Benny Chan and starring Edison Chen, Stephen Fung and Sam Lee. The film is a sequel to the 1999 film Gen-X Cops.

Nicholas Tse subsequently worked with Benny Chan on “New Police Story”, “Rob-B-Hood“, “Invisible Target” and “Shaolin”.

Returning cops Sam Lee and Stephen Fung manage to shine amidst the middling special effects and the poor new acting "talent." The return of the Gen-X Cops is an eagerly awaited affair, but this time out they call the film Gen-Y Cops. And after seeing the movie, there are plenty of "whys".
