Martha De Laurentiis (née Schumacher and credited as such until 1995; July 10, 1954 – December 4, 2021) was an American film producer. De Laurentiis was known for producing films such as Breakdown, U-571, Hannibal, and Red Dragon with her husband Dino De Laurentiis, as well as the television series Hannibal. [1][2]
Her siblings include sister Eloisa, a make-up artist, and brothers Igor and Dino Alexander II, a Hollywood film editor who died of melanoma in 2003. [7] . Her stepfather is producer Ivan Kavalsky. Career. De Laurentiis studied at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, [2][5] with aspirations of becoming a pastry chef.
