All of the money raised by Take the Lead, a 501c3 charitable organization, has been donated exclusively from within the fancy, Bradley noted. Support is provided by individuals, local kennel clubs, the AKC and dog food companies, he added.

As a charity focussed on making life-changing differences for people with disabilities through the power of expertly trained dogs, we believe in the positive and sometimes life-changing difference that dogs can make to people’s lives – we see this daily through the impact of our team.
To provide direct services, support, and care for all qualified participants in the sport of dogs who are suffering from a life threatening or terminal illness and are in need of financial assistance for medical treatments, prescriptions, funeral expenses and daily living expenses.
