Apr 10, 1997 · Taryn began playing beach volleyball in January 2019 at LSU, graduating early from Creighton University, where she competed for 4 seasons as an All-American indoor volleyball outside hitter. In 2015 & 2016, she and her team made it to the Sweet 16 and Elite 8.
Kloth was a two-time AVCA Honorable Mention All-American and Creighton advanced to the NCAA Elite Eight her sophomore season. Kloth played three seasons of beach volleyball at LSU, which at one point held the nation's number one ranking.

Beach volleyball players Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss turned pro in 2021. Without ranking points, the pair had to power through tournaments, tribulations and critics to the winner's circle as they punched their ticket to the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
