SITUATION: Refresh yourself with the Free Kick rules related to these kicks. When K kicks off and uses a pooch kick, can a member of the Kicking team run underneath the ball and catch it? They cannot, as this would be foul. Rember, there is a difference be-tween a free kick and scrimmage kick. (6-1-6 and 7)
Normal splits are defined as “Foot to Foot, but not more than 2 feet apart” between each offensive line players (tackle to tackle). Teams must use an even defensive front with no nose guard. No defensive player may line up inside the offensive Guards. Linebacker depth must be 4 yards or greater for LB’s inside the box.
