Personal life and education. Glickman is the son of Rhoda Yura and Dan Glickman, the former Kansas Congressman, Secretary of Agriculture, and president of the MPAA. He was born in Detroit, Michigan and raised in Wichita, Kansas and Washington, D.C. While he was a child, his mother introduced him to directors Martin Scorsese and Woody Allen.
Jonathan Glickman is a producer and founder of Glickmania Media Group, an independent production company that develops IP for film, television and podcasting. He was the President of MGM Motion Picture Group from 2014 to 2020, where he produced Respect, The Addams Family 2, Scandalous! and other projects.
